Want to try a new style of painting? Have you ever wondered how to paint with those palette knife things? In this class, we'll be looking at paintings by the artist Leonid Afremov, whose beautifully colorful and reflective works draw your eye immediately. You'll learn about his technique and be able to make your own unique painting emulating his style, using the same tools he uses, but we'll use acrylics for the sake of time. Impressionist painting like this is great for all ages and levels of experience. Materials included.<div><br></div><div>Warning, this painting class is not like those where you all paint the same thing. Be prepared to attempt your own original painting using what we cover in the beginning of the class. And don't fret about things looking perfect, this is impressionism after all; you only need to convey the impression of trees and objects in the distance. It's actually kind of freeing. </div>
