Paint a Piece provides the perfect hassle-free way to have a party, whatever your needs are. We have a private space for your party and staff to help you have the best time possible. We clean up the mess too! Your guests will have a unique experience, create some great memories, and get a creative party favor - their original work of art!Pricing for this party: $275 for 8 painters and $27 for each additional painter. This party is recommended for ages 10 years and up due to the paints used on these projects as well as the complexity of this project.  These paints will stain clothing and other surfaces. We cannot guarantee specific pieces at this time and appreciate your patience as we navigate supply chain issues.  A $50 non-refundable deposit is required at booking.  This will be applied to your party balance at checkout.  Sample party schedule with a start time of 10:00 am9:45 am: Party host & guest of honor may arrive for setup10 - 10:10 am: Guests arrive, mingle and choose door hangers10:10 - 11 am: Instructions, sketching, and PAINTING time! 11 - 11:10 am: Final details, names on pieces, clean up table, and wash hands 11:10 am - 11:30 am: Party room is yours for food and opening gifts (as time allows) 11:30 am: All guests must exit the party area in order to prepare for our next event. Some extra notes about the timing of your party: - The timing of your party will depend on your guests arrival time. Make sure to tell them we are on the side of the building behind East of Chicago Pizza for the smoothest start to your party. Late arrivals may not have the entire time to paint their pieces. Please be patient with our staff if they are having to help late arrivals pick out pieces and catch up while taking care of all the other needs of the party. -During the painting time, we will provide instruction to the artists, hand out paints and assist where needed. This is a chance for painters to be creative and paint however they wish. This is not a step by step painting instruction class.  *Remember to let the littles’ inner artist come out and remember that not all dogs are brown, or sharks are gray. Embrace their imagination and cherish those messy pieces now. Before you know it they will have perfect pieces and you’ll miss these days. - Painting time can vary depending on the age of the participants and also the arrival time of your guests. A 4 or 5 year old is going to paint for a much shorter time than an 11 year old. Our staff will adjust the beginning of the party to anticipate this and help keep the kids entertained until it’s time for treats and celebrations. -If you choose to have pizza or other food at your party, that must be done at the very end. Please understand that this may either reduce the amount of time your guests have to paint or may require gift opening to happen at home after the party. Due to current Covid procedures, Paint a Piece staff can not handle or distribute food to be consumed by party guests.  Just a few reminders to help make your party a success:<ul style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0"><li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc; font-size: 13.999999999999998pt; font-family: ">Projects will be ready to take home that day.  Door hangers may be a little wet still, but are best taken home to dry.  Your party staff will provide butcher paper to set door hangers on in the trunk or cargo area of your car. We do not have the space to store projects flat while they dry since other parties are scheduled to use the VIP room, therefore door hangers cannot be left to dry and pickup another day. </li><li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc; font-size: 13.999999999999998pt; font-family: ">The birthday child’s commemorative birthday plate will be ready for pickup 5-7 days after the party.  </li><li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc; font-size: 13.999999999999998pt; font-family: ">You may arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the event to set up. Decorations are allowed, however we do not allow piñatas, confetti, noise makers or bouncy balls.</li><li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc; font-size: 13.999999999999998pt; font-family: ">Our door hanger projects use latex wall paints and therefore are not washable and will stain clothing. Aprons will be provided, but enoucourage your party attendees to wear clothing they don’t mind getting dirty and also be mindful about wearing shirts with long or puffy sleeves that may get in the way.  </li><li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc; font-size: 13.999999999999998pt; font-family: Arial; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre; margin-left: -27pt">Our current party room max capacity is 20 people, therefore parents are encouraged to drop off party attendees and pickup when the party's over. If kids are too young for that, please remember to count parents that will have to remain in your total headcount for the party. This must be less than 20 people. For parties with 20 people or more, please call the studio to talk with someone before booking so we can plan to accommodate your large group either before the studio opens or after we close.
