Tonight's class will be taught by Rhiannon Wolfe. Rhiannon is an artist who finds inspiration and solace in the natural world. Her desire is to evoke the spirit of nature and intimacy with the cosmos. She has a passion for wildlife and the preservation of their habitats. Her curiosity in the environment is encapsulated in spell jars, created with found natural objects she collects on her explorations.
Rhiannon has painted numerous large scale indoor and outdoor murals. Her creations in watercolor, ink and color pencil are currently available in 8x10 prints, postcard size magnets and greetings cards. Her work can be found at craft shows, farmers markets, pop up shows and local shops. She loves being commissioned for individual projects, including pet portraits.
Awed by the landscape of Nevada, she has called Reno home for the past 8 years. A keen historian, she has a Masters in Ancient and Medieval History from Cardiff University, Wales. She studied Art at the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors, New York and at The Vienna Academy of Visionary Art, Austria where she studied the painting methods of the Old Masters.
Rhiannon’s wish is to create art that reflects all that is sacred and divine.
